Recognition of the objectives of sustainable development commits Rigoli Group to the adoption of business strategies and practices that aim to meet our customers’ needs while seeking to protect and enhance the human natural resources that will be needed in the future. Rigoli Group encourages the use of renewable resources in a sustainable manner so as to conserve non-renewable resources, including energy through thoughtful planning and operation efficiencies. -
Environmental Performance
Rigoli Group is moving beyond mere compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements for the environmentally safe conduct of our operations, including the design, purchase, operation and maintenance of plant, equipment and systems. Rigoli Group recognizes that compliance should not be restricted merely to processing existing waste streams, rather it must encourage the adoption of a “reduce, reuse, recycle” philosophy among our employees and customers recognizing that waste minimization means good business. Likewise, Rigoli Group encourages its suppliers, and customers to enter into ‘partnerships’ to move beyond environmental compliance. To encourage them to do this, Rigoli Group will provide information and assistance to support them in their efforts. Our employees will be trained in the process to identify, measure, and monitor opportunities to improve environmental conditions. -
Safety
Rigoli Group will continuously assess, monitor and improve practices, processes and policies to enhance the margins of safety for both the people and the environment. Should an emergency occur, then we will commit available resources to assist the community. In the event that any past practices may have created unsafe conditions that require correction, we will undertake to ‘make good.’ -
Communications, Community and Customer
Rigoli Group has a responsibility to educate, train and motivate its employees to understand and adopt these sustainable development principles and the attendant obligations, so as to maintain our uncompromising stance on responsible citizenship. We also recognize that our customers and host communities fall within Rigoli Group’s sphere of influence. Every endeavor will be made to see this broader community is provided with opportunities to be involved in our sustainable development process. -
Minimization of Waste
Rigoli Group will seek to reduce all waste arising from in its own operations. We will pursue opportunities to reduce, reuse and recycle waste source and through our business development activities we will continue to seek innovative solutions to waste minimization issues recognizing the sound business and ethical principles associated with this philosophy that waste management means resource management. When waste disposal is necessary, we will propose environmentally acceptable and safe treatment and disposal of all residuals. -
Environmental Alliances
Rigoli Group will create alliances with government policy makers, advocacy groups and businesses. We will support the development of public policy which encourages consultation, sustainable development and protection and enhancement of the environment. Rigoli Group will participate with organizations committed to the protection and enhancement of the environment and the achievement of objectives stated in these principles. -

Rigoli Group will make consistent, demonstrable progress in innovation; bringing new processes, or advance technologies to the service of our customers, our community and our industry, in the best interests of the environment and all Rigoli Group customers. -

People: refers to the meeting and expectations of its customers; caring for the community in which it operates, being socially responsible and valuing its employees.
